Opened in 1967 in the Sandhills region of North Carolina
The Golf Club at Quail Ridge was designed by Ellis Maples. The course is a short drive from Pinehurst, as well as the Raleigh-Durham-Chapel Hill Triangle area. It reopened in October 2017 after major renovations (the first such renovations since the course originally opened in 1967). We have NEW Champion Bermuda Greens, NEW TifTuf Bermuda Fairways, New Sand in the Bunkers and rolling hills.

Words alone don’t do it justice, I highly recommend visiting in person to fully appreciate this special place.

I had not played QR in over 20 years. Kept hearing through the grapevine that it was in great shape. I played an event there in June and I came off 18 thinking I had just played Lil #2. All playing surfaces were perfect and the E Maples design makes you feel like you are in Pinehurst Village. It was fast, firm and so much fun. Sneaky great golf course. Go play it.

2/12 was supposed to be a washout. We showed up anyway, and boy are we glad we did. Course is in fantastic shape to be February. Shop pro was top notch. One of the best Ellis Maples designs I have stepped foot on.
